About Us
Father and son team, Martin and Wouter du Toit bring vast experience in fresh produce trading when they joined forces with Snocooled Marketing (Pty) Ltd, a reputable packer and marketer of fruit since 2001, to form DeKeur International (Pty) Ltd in September 2009. Snocooled Marketing is wholly owned and operated by De Keur Estates and Ceres Remhoogte Farming, two separate Du Toit family businesses with a long heritage of farming in the Koue Bokkeveld.
The combined group consists of eight Estates which grow and produce fruit and vegetables on a commercial scale. By merging their respective farming interests, the families have brought together more than a hundred years of experience in agriculture and managing fresh produce through markets both domestically and overseas.
DeKeur International’s marketing office is located on Croyden Wine Estate near Somerset West. The estates do the packaging of the vegetables onsite in the Koue Bokkeveld, while the fruit pack house is situated in Ceres. The product is distributed globally from the respective pack houses. The Board of Directors includes Charl du Toit Snr (Chairman), André Hanekom (Managing), Martin du Toit (Marketing), and Wouter du Toit (Marketing).
Our Brand
Martin has for many years been trading in fruit and vegetables around the world and in fact Snocooled, De Keur Estates and Ceres Remhoogte Farming were all previous clients. To complement his years of experience in trading fresh produce and in order to establish the DeKeur International brand name, the Directors have traveled extensively to key international markets. To date acceptance and recognition of the brand has met with great success, boding well for the future of our business.
